Bath sheets

Larger than standard bath towels, bath sheets are usually 90x150cm as standard. Most bath sheets are made from terry cotton towelling, with a pair of fibres twisted in a helix shape. This method of twisting creates the ‘fuzz’ that appears to the naked eye when we touch a towel. Terry cotton towelling is extremely absorbent, being able to soak up to 1.5 times its own weight in water. Its weight is expressed in grammes per square meter (usually between 600 to 740 gramme). Some terry cotton fibres are shorn for a second time, which results in a fleecy, velvet-like textile that’s incredibly soft to the touch.

With its large size, bath sheets are excellent for absorbing water following a long bath or shower, while its textile weight guarantees maximum softness when coming into contact with the skin.
